I know dealing with a shipping company BLOWS when it comes to getting refunds like this, but it's something. If indeed the damage is drastically different than when you sent them, then it really is the shipping company's fault and I can somewhat understand Chip's position. However, there's other stuff about deals/refunds/etc that you guys made that seem to overlap. Hopefully you two can work it out. If you have the emails to prove what he said, it should be pretty easy. Just make sure you DO have proof of things and don't go overboard in making claims you can't backup or aren't sure about.
